Spanx' lingerie looks and feels luxurious, but is designed to be worn every day. The label’s collections include everything from lace bras with underwired cups, to satin thongs that are designed to sit low on the hips.
Each piece is crafted from premium materials like silk, lace and cotton, and created with everybody’s shape in mind. Wear the matching briefs and bra for a co-ordinated everyday look.
As cotton can often be prone to shrinking when it is washed and dried, it is recommended to check the individual care label for each piece and follow the instructions carefully. When it comes to cleaning cotton and cotton-blend materials, it is recommended to use a lower temperature wash at 30°C or below. Colored cotton garments should be turned inside out before washing. Allow to air dry naturally, and give garments a gentle stretch to restore shapes as soon as they come out of the wash.
Lace is a beautiful yet delicate fabric, and will need to be cleaned properly to prolong its life. If your lace becomes stained, it will need to be cleaned quickly as stains can stick to the lace fibres permanently if left untreated for too long. We recommend hand washing lace items in cold water with a delicate detergent. Massage the soapy water into the lace and leave to soak for around 30 minutes. Use a gentle plunging action to remove dirt and stains, and avoid rubbing. Never wring or twist lace fabric. Lay flat and allow to dry naturally. If you do decide to clean lace in the washing machine using a gentle wash cycle, it is advised to first place it in a laundry bag to protect it from getting damaged.
Simple steps are required to prolong the life of luxurious silk garments, even if the silk percentage is low. Due to its very delicate nature, we advise carefully following the care instructions on each individual silk product. Some silk products are strictly dry clean only, while others can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle, cold-water cycle. It is advised to clean silk using a lower temperature to other fabrics, as hot water can affect the material’s natural properties and damage to the fibres. We also recommend selecting a specially-formulated silk detergent, which will be gentler on its natural proteins. Avoid spot cleaning silk, as rubbing in only one area can cause the material to lighten in just that spot. Silk should not be tumble dried, and instead can be laid flat to dry naturally. If the care label advises machine washing, then ensure a gentle, cold-water cycle is chosen. If the care label on your silk item says that it can be ironed, then use a low iron setting and ideally iron while it is still slightly damp.
