James Perse launched his debut casual lifestyle label in 1994. Born out of his frustration from not being able to find well-crafted and designed baseball caps, he decided to make his own. The line soon grew into a collection of luxe T-shirts, followed by a women's knit line in 1996 and men's collection in 1998.
