The Most Wanted Hunter Boots

  • Hunter’s Original Tall Boots

This iconic style has been at the heart of Hunter since it was first created in 1956. Available in a variety of colorways, as well as glossy and matt finishes, it has firmly established itself as a cult classic. Crafted from natural rubber and formed from 28 hand-cut parts, the Original Tall is vulcanized for superior protection. Complete with tread pattern, comfortable polyester lining and instantly recognizable red and white logo, they’ll keep feet dry in the sleet, snow and driving rain.

  • Hunter’s Original Insulated Boots

Designed to stand up to winter weather, the brand’s line of Original Insulated Boots is handcrafted from waterproof rubber and lined in warm, cozy fleece. Providing extra protection on icy mornings, styles like the Original Insulated Pac can be worn in temperatures as low as -5°C and Original Insulated Ankle Snow Boots in temperatures as low as -22°C.

  • Hunter’s Norris Field Boots

A fresh take on the iconic Original Tall silhouette, Hunter’s Norris Field Boots come with an adjustable side gusset for a customized fit and are handcrafted from a soft, rubber compound for durability. Named after the brand’s pioneering founder, Henry Lee Norris, this waterproof design can be worn on varied terrain thanks to its weatherproof buckle, webbing strap and a sturdy sole with additional grip.

The Hunter Boots Sizing Guide

Hunter boots are available in men’s UK sizing, and you can use the below chart to see how this corresponds with your usual size.

For example, if you usually wear a men’s US size 7 or EU size 38, you should buy your Hunter boots in a size 5.

Most Hunter boots, including the Original Tall, Norris Field and Balmoral, fit true to size. If you are in-between sizes or want to wear thick socks, it is recommended that you size up in the Original Chelsea Boot.

How To Care For Your Hunter Boots

Hunter boots can last a lifetime, but only if they’re well looked after. Even the finest rubber can become brittle if it is not cared for properly, which is why Hunter recommends wiping any excess dirt and debris off with a dry cloth to keep them looking their best.

Every pair of boots is crafted from the best quality rubber, which means a white powdery "bloom" may appear. This can be removed with a damp cloth, or by buffing in a circular motion with a Hunter Rubber Buffer and cotton cloth.

After cleaning, allow boots to dry naturally away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources. Rub on Hunter boot shine or apply olive oil on a clean cloth for a lustrous finish.

Boots should not be stored when damp, folded or creased, and should be kept in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing your boots to solvents, oils and animal fats, which can cause the rubber to swell and increase the risk of slipping.

FAQ

Are Hunter boots vegan?

Hunter has a commitment to using natural rubber, which means many of the brand’s iconic and best-selling boots are already vegan. Whether it is the Original Tall, or the Stella McCartney x Hunter collaboration, you’ll find a Hunter boot that is certified as 100% vegan and therefore made without using any animal materials or animal by-products during the manufacturing process.

Do Hunter boots come with a warranty?

Hunter boots are covered by a 24 month warranty when purchased from the brand’s retail and outlet stores, as well as authorized department stores, retailers and specialty stores.

Hunter wellington boots are handcrafted using a 100% natural product, which means every pair is unique and may show tiny imperfections in appearance. The performance of the boot is unaffected, and adds character to each style.

Are Hunter boots waterproof?

All Hunter boots provide waterproof protection, making them a practical option for tackling wintry conditions or rainy days. Whether they are worn at a festival, on city streets or exploring the countryside, these boots will prevent moisture from entering to ensure feet remain dry.

Hunter’s products are only characterized as waterproof once they have successfully completed a series of highly controlled, industry-approved tests, and therefore guaranteed to perform in wet weather
